Chocolate Almond Bars
When sugar cravings strike, this rich, decadent dessert will hit the spot. It can be made and refrigerated or enjoyed straight away!
1 cup almond butter
¼ cup raw cacao or carob powder
1-2 tbsp coconut milk from can
1 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
½ tsp vanilla extract
pinch sea salt
Ready in 10 minutes
Serves 4 people or more

Mix all ingredients together by hand. Mixture will be thick and kind of dry, easy for spooning.
Lay parchment paper down in glass container and layer mixture to desired thickness.
Put in freezer for 2 hours and then take out to score into bars.
More coconut milk can be added for creamier consistency. The coconut oil and milk are the only sweeteners here. Try it with carob powder, it adds a rich, malted flavor.
